Designed as a prototype pop up store in collaboration with the Lenovo marketing team; the Lenovo Do Shop references an industrial workshop encouraging consumers to be hands on and involved in their retail experience.
The typical retail environment has been redefined by an interlocking wooden structure, which dictates the form, function and movement of the space. Pushing and pulling the geometry of the shell, results in a defined entrance, display areas and zoning.
Subtracting a piece of the box, rotating it inwards and angling the two adjacent sides formed the entrance. The result is a dynamic façade whose angularity pulls in the passer by. Once inside, circulation is directed by wall displays that effortlessly expand and contract from the wooden envelope. A led floor also dictates the path of movement, leading consumers to visit a number of different stations that activate multiple senses and highlight the product. Vintage trunks, conveyor belts and worktables have been converted into interactive experience displays, further reinforcing the industrial aesthetic of the space.
